WHO?

TJR: my initials, but also a nickname, and weirdly a personal brand I’ve now cultivated for myself. Everything I touch is TJR, because I am TJR! I’m an LA native working in entertainment who loves everything the world of media has to offer.

WHY?

For my own mental sanity and to protect my creativity, I have always needed to write. I studied writing in college, and the process of writing, rewriting, editing, shifting, and thinking through prose has always been the way I feel the most connected to the neurons in my brain firing. i realized all i ever do is write emails, taglines, and proof press releases. i need to a creative outlet.

This endeavor is also fueled by a need to do something for myself that is a hobby! I do have other hobbies, but a lot of them are very enmeshed in my daily routine and I want to reclaim a hobby that is purely for myself and purely for fun.
