The time has come where I inevitably say “where did [insert month here] go?!” at the beginning of a work meeting in an effort to make small talk.
But seriously - April absolutely FLEW. It was an incredibly busy month in the best way - filled with fabulous experiences, people, music, tv/movies, etc. It was not necessarily a month of structure, but I’m using May as a month to LOCK IN physically, mentally, financially, emotionally… you get the idea.
Soooo without further ado, here are some of the amazing things that made my April quite awesome:
WATCHING
Sinners (2025)
This is truly one of the best new movies I’ve seen in a while. I implore you to see in in theaters, the way Ryan Coogler intended!
On Swift Horses (2025)
Shoutout Sony Pictures Classics. This is a moody, 50s drama set in California and Las Vegas and starring a bunch of hot people. It was great performance-wise (probably my favorite Jacob Elordi performance besides Priscilla), but a bit too long.
The Studio (Apple TV+)
You knew this would be on here if you’ve met me. The Studio absolutely captures the absurdity of working in entertainment. It’s perfect. Dare I say I identify with Quinn played by Chase Sui Wonders a bit too much? In a meeting today at work, my boss said he “didn’t love it.” I deadpanned to the whole room: “need I say more?” He immediately replied: “If I want to watch it, I’ll just walk into Thalberg (our executive building on the lot) any time of day.”
Hacks (Max)
Except for a sophomore slump in season 2 (sorry someone had to say it!), Hacks may be one of the best shows I’ve ever watched. Is it another self-indulgent show about the entertainment industry? Yes! Do I think it has broad appeal? No! But is it still awesome and well done? TOTALLY!
The Valley (Bravo)
The only reason this show is on this list is because I can’t tear my eyes away from the car crash that is this season of The Valley. Everyone is so laid bare on television in the most unflattering ways. It’s dark in the way RHOSLC was in the season when Jen Shah was arrested. It’s not necessarily a fave, but something that has occupied my brain space this past month.
PURCHASING
Lady Gaga Mayhem Coachella Hoodie
Life changed after I saw Lady Gaga’s magical Coachella set (more on this later), so much so that I needed to commemorate the moment with this iconic hoodie. It also happens to be the perfect, cozy black sweatshirt that I wear a bit too frequently.
The frilly socks were purchased after getting absolutely waterboarded on Tiana's Bayou Adventure (formerly Splash Mountain) at Disneyland, but now I need so many pairs. With loafers? Cutest thing I’ve ever seen!
GANNI Snakeskin Ballerina Flats
I finally pulled the trigger on these slightly basic, yet adorable GANNI flats after discovering them for an incredible deal at the Cabazon Outlets. Not only are they so me, they’re extremely comfortable. No breaking in period necessary.
Ok, nothing has ever been more flattering than this romper. I want it in every color. It’s so perfect to wear for a pilates class and then to get coffee afterwards and still look put together. I’m addicted!
I finally nailed my at-home matcha routine with the help of this cutie set of tools. Apparently there’s going to be a matcha shortage? So I guess next I need to stockpile matcha to prepare…

EXPERIENCING
Coachella 2025
The last time I attended Coachella in 2019, I was with a massive group of people from high school, many of whom never wanted to go to the same sets as I did. This time, after a hiatus, I went with a new group, did what I want, wore what I want, and had the BEST TIME. I cried twice during Gaga because I was weirdly so overcome with pride for her. She is such an icon! It’s captured a lot better by miss Dorrit Corwin here:
New tattoo
I now have four tattoos, which feels like a good amount for someone who in childhood had nightmares of scrubbing away tattoos for hours to no avail. I LOVE my fine line mini tattoos - they are so fun and cute! This latest one is for my dad, who calls me his sunshine & used to sing Johnny Cash to me all the time <3
Matthew visiting me in LA
My perfect Miggity came to LA finally & we played headsup with my parents at a bar, drank martinis, drove all around town, hit the weho scene, did a silver springs class, and vibed! I love when friends come to town and I get to be a mini tour guide.
Seeing Paul & Ringo at Marea in Beverly Hills
NO WORDS. Cannot elaborate further because I can’t believe it was real.
Disneyland for Annabelle’s 21st
Every time I told someone I was taking my sister to Disneyland for her birthday, they assumed she was around seven years old. In fact, she turned 21 this year!
See you soon! xoxo
